I am so sick of this, this does not end on a cliffhanger like the description says, this just cuts off in what is basically the middle of the beginning. I understand trilogies, I like box sets, and I even enjoy serials. But what I hate is something being listed as a "book" that is nothing but a teaser designed to get you to keep buying. If I like the first book in a series I will happily pay for the next, and the next. Heck, I'll even pay for the first one if the description catches my attention. But I want a whole book/story for my money, and I'm not talking about length/page count.It's a shame, too, because this author actually has some talent. The writing was good, the d/s elements tastefully done, and the sex was hot. What I hate is that this raised a lot of questions without any answers. I've read several short stories, novellas, and serial installments - each one with the full story arch and leading into the next.
I know I'm not the only reader frustrated with this latest trend and with so many talent authors out there I will keep looking for ones who understand what readers want.

I liked the look of this series from the covers and synopsis. I was intrigued by the series and decided to give this ago. Well once I started I couldn't stop. This series was fantastic and I could feel the pull of attraction between the two characters right from the start. The sex was HOT and STEAMY. Well written and when it ended I have to read more.
A great read. I'll re -read this series again. I enjoyed the sweet chemistry between the characters.
I suppose it could work if they fall for each other again, but seriously, kidnapping is such a bad idea! Lol
I got this book free, but I'm not sure I care to continue. I'll have to think about it.
The ending of this book will automatically make you to read the second one. I hope he gets her too. The two have been apart for several years and Blake knows that she is back in town. He wants her still and goes to her job one night so that he can get her to come with him for two days. Can't wait to see how it ends. ☺
New author, Lili Valente, has a new trilogy coming out, with Controlling Her Pleasure being the first in the series. We meet Erin in the prologue and think it's going to be one thing, but then it turns out to be different. Blake and Erin were foster kids together when they were teenagers and he tried to keep her protected.
What happened to their love and promises to each other? Why did she run the day after his eighteenth birthday. Be aware that there is a cliffhanger here, but you really don't want to miss this series. I am sooo looking forward to the next book in the series, to find out what happens to Erin and Blake.

This has to be one of the greatest love/hate story ever. I was addicted the first time I read "Twisted". A story about young girl abduct by beautiful but dangerous man. The in "Keep Me", I read how Nora fell in deeper love with Julian and her time at his estate. Dealing with his strong sexually need,
danger from terrorist group who want to kidnapped Nora and blackmail Julian. Then in "Hold Me", we discovered how their relationship was stronger when having her family dealing with her marriage to an arms dealer to unexpected pregnancy to having to leave her family behind to keep her relationship with Julian alive and strong.
If you want to read a trilogy about raw sex and true love, this is a MUST read.
No, no, no, no, no....cannot get past the kidnapping stuff and the threat of tattooing under force and duress. Sex not believably motivated.
And btw...this is not really Book 1...it's more Part 1. While I have no interest in continuing this read, I think others should know as they go in that "book 1" is not a complete work unto itself. As I said, more like a part with a cliffhanger.
A very erotic book. Ladies get ready for wet panties. A great story of BDSM, of Dominate and submissive...Blake and Erin in same system as kids. Got matching tats when they were young. Blake goes on to make a name for himself and his tats. He has been trying to move on, but he can't, not until he can get Erin to answer him and let him fix her tat so it doesn't match his anymore. He plans on how to get her...And, it works...fireworks explode...She cant help but do as his dominance tells her. When she hears that tone, her submissive kicks in..It has been to long....she can't help it....she craves it....and he is loving it....
This is another author I will have to add to my list of the few that make it to..A great book written by what I feel is a great author..One that got my attention from the first page of the story...I couldnt put it down. I sat and read it, until, the last page, left me wanting more...left me saying I have to purchase the rest of this series of books..Highly, highly recommend....
